Rueda winery

The Rueda winery contains the pressing and macerating hall, a white wine winery, a red wine winery, barrel maturing area, bottled wine storage and the dispatch area.

The grapes are received in the pressing and macerating area, where they undergo a process cooling, destalking and cleaning and are then put into 189 stainless steel tanks each with 40,000 litre capacity.

The area of barrel maturing is destined for producing Limousin (160 barrels) and Tinto Riscal 1860 (2,200 barrels). One can also find a bottle storage area, where maturing in bottles is undertaken and where bottles are stored pending their labelling.

About 3,750,000 bottles of our white wines and 1,000, 000 bottles of Tinto Riscal red wine are produced every year.

For bottling and labelling, the most modern equipment and machinery is used to give our consumers perfect presentation and delivery.
