A new look for Finca Torrea, the expression of Elciego’s terroir 

Marquésde Riscal has unveiled a new look for Finca Torrea, a modern, elegant andavant-garde wine with deep roots in its terroir. The newdesign will appear on Finca Torrea 2020, the vintage currently on sale, from 1July. 

FincaTorrea is a wine deeply rooted in Elciego, originating inthe very place where the winery’s story began. It is made exclusively from Tempranillo grapes grown within themunicipality, on the estate surrounding the original Marqués de Riscal winery. The new design therefore seeks to highlight its local identity and underlineits status as a village wine, elegantly and distinctively reflecting thelandscape, history and character of its place of origin.

The label features an embossedcomposition incorporating some of Elciego’s most recognisable elements: thesilhouette of the Church of San Andrés, the vineyards surrounding the wineryand the “T” of Torrea, symbolising the estate that gives the wine its name. Thedesign is completed by the red wax seal and the Marqués de Riscal coat of arms,linking this new presentation to the winery’s history and visual identity.

This refreshed look conveys theprovenance, distinctive character and value of Finca Torrea: a vibrant,approachable and contemporary wine deeply rooted in its terroir.
